The Jewish General Hospital is a 637 bed McGill University teaching hospital that services a diverse multi-cultural population. More than 60% of the population is foreign born. The infectious disease service and walk in clinic provides care to returning travelers and treats a range of imported travel related conditions such as diarrhea, malaria, typhoid fever etc. We serve a large immigrant population and provide care for several chronic infections such as tuberculosis, viral hepatitis and parasitic infections.
