GeoSentinel is funded through the following partnerships.
CDC
Cooperative Agreement (CoAg) between the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and International Society of Travel Medicine. (A CoAg is a financial assistance mechanism used when there is substantial federal involvement beyond normal oversight and monitoring activities.)
GeoSentinel was awarded funding under an initiative to strengthen surveillance and respond to emerging pathogens. Learn more about the GeoSentinel CDC award Cooperative Agreements.
ISTM Members who would like to be involved in GeoSentinel and are willing to provide information about unusual diagnoses are invited to learn more and apply to become a part of a globally recognized network of travel and tropical disease experts.
The mission of the GeoSentinel Foundation is to support the research, surveillance, and educational activities of the GeoSentinel Surveillance and Research Network.
