She reports the occurrence of suspected cases of a possible variant of epidemic myalgia in Salvador, Bahia, Northeastern Brazil. The Municipal Health Department of Salvador (SMS) reported cases, of a yet unidentified disease that causes intense muscular pain and black urine.
