Travel-related Brucellosis

Brucellosis remains one of the most widespread zoonotic infections worldwide, particularly in the Middle East, North Africa, and Central Asia. However, travel-related brucellosis is still poorly characterized and is likely underrecognized in non-endemic settings. We conducted a retrospective multicenter observational study of travel-related brucellosis cases reported through the GeoSentinel Surveillance Network between 2000 and 2025. Demographic, travel-related, clinical, and diagnostic data were analyzed.
